Coronavirus Updates: New guidelines issued in these states amid rapidly increasing cases of corona, mock drill will be held in hospitals tomorrow

Coronavirus Updates: In many states of the country, the cases of Corona (Covid 19) are increasing rapidly. In view of this, the state governments have issued new guidelines. Apart from this, a nationwide mock drill will be organized on 10 and 11 April to take stock of the preparations in the hospital. In which both government and private health centers are likely to participate. 

Officials told on Sunday (April 9) that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will visit Jhajjar’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on April 10 to inspect the mock drill. In the review meeting held on April 7, Mandaviya requested the state health ministers to visit the hospital and observe the mock drill. The Union Minister had also advised him to review the preparedness with the district administration and health officials on April 8 and 9. 

New guidelines released in these states

In view of the increasing cases of corona, the Haryana government has made it mandatory to wear face masks in public places. Along with this, it will be necessary to wear masks in schools as well. The Health Minister of Haryana has instructed the officials that if the patients of cough and cold come to the hospital, then their corona test should be done. He has also issued instructions for genome sequencing of patients. 

Masks mandatory in Kerala and Puducherry 

According to the new guidelines issued in Kerala, It is necessary for pregnant women, the elderly and people with serious diseases to wear masks. Kerala Health Minister Veena George has also issued instructions to ensure the availability of oxygen. And the Puducherry  administration has also made it mandatory to wear masks in public places. Masks have also been made mandatory for employees working in hospitals, hotels, restaurants, liquor shops, government offices and commercial establishments. 

These instructions given in UP and Delhi

In Uttar Pradesh, the health department has asked to speed up the investigation. Along with this, the patient’s corona test will be mandatory before being admitted to the emergency. After increasing cases in Delhi also, the Health Department has instructed hospitals, polyclinics to speed up the investigation. More than 500 cases are being received everyday in Delhi for the last several days.
