BJP MP Kirron Kher: BJP MP from Chandigarh Kirron Kher has come under fire from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party due to a comment made about voters. Actually, Kirron Kher had come to attend a program on Wednesday (March 15). In this meeting organized in Kishangarh, she was talking about the development works done in her parliamentary constituency. It is being claimed that during this he used some words which were inappropriate.
A video of this program is becoming fiercely viral on social media. Regarding which it is being claimed that Kirron Kher used words like ‘Laant hai’ and ‘Chhittar ferne chahiye’ while talking about the voters. He is accused of using ‘bad’ words for the voters of his parliamentary constituency. Congress and AAP are demanding an apology from him for this.
What’s in the video?
In this video, Kirron Kher, a two-time MP from Chandigarh, can be heard saying that if not even a single person in Deep Complex votes for me, then it is a matter of great shame…they should go and disperse, because I got his road built by giving so much money. Though Kher’s remark was made in a light hearted manner, his political opponents created a political furor over it.
Congress and AAP target
Chandigarh Pradesh Women’s Congress President Deepa Dubey said that it is a matter of sorrow that the MP has spoken of hitting the voters who cast their votes with slippers. What message does she want to convey by using such language? He said that Kher can also be heard saying that he gave money to build roads. Has he given this money from his own pocket? What kind of language she is using and this is not happening for the first time. They have demanded that he should apologize to the people.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Pradeep Chhabra claimed that Kirron Kher said that he has built roads worth Rs 1 crore in Deep Complex, but it does not mean that he should use bad words against the voters. He should apologize to the people of Chandigarh. The Aam Aadmi Party leader claimed that earlier the BJP MP had called AAP councilors dungar (animals).
Chandigarh Mayor Anoop Gupta was also present in this program along with the BJP MP. After this video surfaced, the youth wing of Congress demonstrated on Thursday. During this, the Youth Congress workers had shoes in their hands and said that the people of Chandigarh did not elect Kher as an MP for hearing such words that if they did not vote, they (voters) would be thrashed.
