Congress Support AAP: Congress support to Kejriwal on the ordinance of the Center?  Venugopal said – believe in the rule of law, but…

Congress Support AAP: Amidst the tussle over the Centre’s ordinance on transfers and appointments in Delhi, the Congress has denied reports that the party has decided to support Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the matter. Senior party leader KC Venugopal said that the Congress has not yet taken any decision regarding the ordinance brought against the Supreme Court’s decision.

Venugopal tweeted and wrote, Congress party has not taken any decision on the issue of ordinance brought by the central government against the Supreme Court’s decision on the power to appoint officers in the government of the national capital of Delhi. The Congress will hold consultations on the issue with its state (Delhi) unit and other like-minded parties."

He further wrote, "The party believes in the rule of law and at the same time does not condone unnecessary confrontation, political targeting and campaigns based on lies against political opponents by any political party."

There were reports of Congress support

This statement of the Congress leader has come amid reports that the Congress party has decided to support Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the ordinance issue. Recently, the Supreme Court had given a decision in favor of the Delhi government regarding the transfer and posting of officers in Delhi, and had given it authority in all except a few departments. The central government has brought an ordinance against this decision, after which there has been an uproar. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is trying to get the support of opposition parties against this ordinance.

Nitish Kumar has supported

A day earlier Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had given his support to CM Kejriwal on this matter. After meeting Arvind Kejriwal, CM Nitish termed this ordinance against the constitution.
