Congress President Election: Ashok Gehlot called a meeting of the legislative party, will he file an application for the post of Congress President?

Congress President Election: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has become active after the Congress party president election. On the one hand MP Shashi Tharoor (Shashi Tharoor)  Ashok Gehlot has called a meeting of the Legislature Party at 10 pm tonight as information is coming out that he is also interested in the election of the party president. Gehlot may be the candidate for the Congress National President election.

According to the sources, Ashok Gehlot may file his nomination on September 26. The meeting called by Gehlot may reveal some big information about the National President. Today, a party has been organized at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s residence to welcome Vice President Jagdeep Dhankad. Legislature party meeting will be held after the welcome party.

Ashok Gehlot will go on a visit to Delhi tomorrow while the movement in the party is gaining momentum from the post of Congress President. Gehlot will meet Interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi tomorrow. Meanwhile, Ashok Gehlot has already rejected the talk of the post of president. Many Congress leaders want Rahul Gandhi to accept the post of Congress president. Efforts are also being made to persuade them. But it has become clear that he will not contest the election.

Shashi Tharoor also in the race

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor may also file his candidature for the Congress president election. On the very last day, he has met Sonia Gandhi and expressed his desire to contest the election. There is talk that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will also fill the application form. But this has not been officially confirmed. Now another question is starting to arise that if Ashok Gehlot becomes the party president, who will be the new  Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
