Attorney General R Venkataraman said in the Supreme Court that the flexibility of the administrative process has particular advantages. In court we may lose, but at the administrative level the negotiations go on for a long time. Senior advocate Vikas Singh told the court that our only concern is that the matter should not be set aside. The purpose of filing a petition is to start a dialogue with the government. The Supreme Court said that the government takes our needs very seriously at the administrative level. 7000 crore has been given to the judiciary without any deduction, as the Center felt it was the need of the hour. In August 2022, the SCBA approached the Supreme Court. filed a petition in , seeking a direction to allot 1.33 acres of land to the Union Ministry of Urban Development for setting up lawyers’ chambers. At the beginning of this year, on March 2, Vikas Singh appeared before the bench of CJI DY Chandrachud and complained that the case was not heard despite saying it several times. Meanwhile, senior lawyer Singh had loudly said that the lawyers’ protest may start outside the judges’ house. On which the CJI asked Singh to lower his voice and warned that such behavior would not work in the Supreme Court.

After this, senior advocates Kapil Sibal and Neeraj Kishan Kaul present in the court. Apologized to CJI. Following this, SCBA members moved a motion seeking an apology from the two senior advocates for diluting the case. On this matter, former Attorney General KK Venugopal said that the apology of senior lawyers was to maintain friendly relations.
