Brahmos Missile: India will deal with the maritime threats of China and Pakistan, Brahmos missile will be deployed on the coasts of the country.

Brahmos Missile Deployment: Former Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Satish N Ghormod has said that the Indian Navy will deploy mobile coastal batteries equipped with the recently commissioned Brahmos supersonic cruise missile in coastal areas. These batteries will be deployed at maritime strategic locations to neutralize threats from both the East and West.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense approved Mobile Coastal Missile Batteries and in this regard on March 30 An agreement was signed with BrahMos Aerospace Corporation. Speaking to ANI a day after his retirement, Ghormade said, "We will be able to deploy next-generation mobile missile coastal batteries at strategic locations to monitor and neutralize any threat from the east or west."

Delivery will start from 2027  

Brahmos Aerospace will start its deliveries from 2027. These batteries will be armed with the world’s fastest and deadliest supersonic cruise missiles. It will help the Indian Navy in multi-directional maritime attack. That is, the navy can attack simultaneously in all three directions: water, land and air. This will increase the strength of the Navy.

Brahmos missile comes in two forms  

The BrahMos surface-to-surface missiles will be deployed on the coasts. It has two forms. First Brahmos Block-1 and second Brahmos-NG. That is, the transporter standing on the ground will be fired from the Erector Launcher (TEL). It is a type of truck in which a silo-tower-like structure is built. BrahMos missiles come out of them. They can be carried anywhere. The direction of the missile can be determined.
