Samajwadi Party stalwart from Saharanpur and former minister Dharam Singh Saini will join the BJP in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a public meeting in Khatauli. Actually, Saini had taken Akhilesh Yadav’s hand before the assembly elections accusing him of neglecting the backward. At that time, Saini was the AYUSH minister in the BJP government. It is being told that after losing the election from Saharanpur, Dharam Singh Saini was sidelined in the SP. /strong>

Dharam Singh Saini had said, ‘I left the BJP because I was not listened to in any way. There was no hearing of the office bearers of the organization either. When 140 MLAs staged a dharna, they were all threatened, so they all decided that they would give a verbal response.

Saini also claimed that every day a minister and his 2 3 MLAs will leave BJP. Then before the elections, about 20 BJP leaders left the BJP. In the year 2019, the BJP MLAs sat on a sit-in in the Vidhan Sabha against their own government. However, the legislators ended the strike after the assurance of the government and the assembly speaker.

  Dr. Dharam Singh Saini has been an MLA for four consecutive terms from this seat. He became a first-time MLA from Sarasava (now Nakur) assembly seat in 2002 from BSP. After this, he was elected MLA from BSP for the third time in 2007 elections and again in 2012 (now Nakur). After this, in 2016, he changed his banner. He contested the 2017 elections on a BJP ticket and won the election for the fourth time. Then, before the assembly elections in 2022, he left the BJP and joined the SP. He had contested from Nakur but he lost to BJP candidate Mukesh Chaudhary by a margin of 315 votes.
