Arvind Kejriwal’s statement on CBI-ED – Why are investigating agencies not responding to the court?

Arvind Kejriwal Remark on CBI and ED :  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has targeted the central investigation agencies CBI and ED regarding the case of his cabinet minister Satyendra Jain. He wrote in a retweet, “Why are CBI and ED not answering the court’s questions? Why are you taking dates again and again?

Actually, the lawyers of ED did not reach the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi yesterday regarding this matter. On this, the CBI lawyer requested to extend the date. On which the court reprimanded the CBI and said that the date cannot be taken on the basis of mere guesses without facts and also asked the CBI to appear with the facts at the next hearing. The next hearing of the case will be held on September 8 i.e. Thursday.

Satyendra Jain’s case is being fought by senior advocate Kapil Sibal. During the previous hearing, Kapil Sibal asked the court to grant bail to Satyendra Jain saying that a charge sheet has been filed against him. The court rejected the bail application saying that Satyendra Jain is an influential person, so he can tamper with the evidence. Kahi C

Arvind Kejriwal is also targeting the CBI-ED probe in Delhi’s new excise policy for 2020-21. Recently, when the CBI raided Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal targeted the investigative agency and the Modi government.

Arvind Kejriwal retweeted Manish Sisodia’s tweet on the day Delhi’s education model was praised and America’s Manish Sisodia’s picture appeared on the front page of the largest newspaper NYT, the same day the Center raided Manish’s house with CBI. Welcome to CBI. Will give full support. Several investigations/raids were also conducted in the past. Nothing came out. Still nothing will come out."
