Ankita Murder Case: How did Ankita die? The truth emerged from the postmortem report

Ankita Murder Case : Every day new information is coming forward regarding the murder of Ankita Bhandari in Uttarakhand. Ankita’s final post-mortem report has now come out. In this post-mortem, it has been revealed that Ankita died due to drowning. Along with this, four to five injury marks have been found on Anta’s body. Ankita was scheduled to be cremated on Sunday, but after the preliminary post-mortem report came out, relatives stopped the cremation and the family demanded a re-mortem. However, later the family cremated Ankita. 

19-year-old Ankita Bhandari from Jharkhand went missing a few days ago. Ankita’s body was found in a canal in Rishikesh on Saturday. Then the police arrested the three people including BJP leader Pulkit Arya after registering a case of murder. Pulkit Arya is the son of BJP leader Vinod Arya. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had ordered the formation of an SIT to investigate the matter. SIT has issued a press release in this regard today. It said that considering the seriousness of the case related to the murder of Ankita Bhandari, an SIT has been constituted on September 24, 2022 under the chairmanship of Renuka Devi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Crime and Law and Order, Uttarakhand. 

Investigation started by SIT  

SIT officials conducted a thorough inspection of the incident site. Moreover, Ankita’s postmortem report has been received from AIIMS and it has been shown to the relatives. All the evidence from the spot as well as the electronic evidence like CCTV footage, mobile CDR etc. are being analyzed and thoroughly studied. 

It was said on behalf of the SIT that the key witness in this case, the staff of the resort, is being investigated. A forensic team has inspected the spot. After receiving the list of people staying at the resort on the day of the incident, a thorough investigation is underway. Proceedings are underway to obtain police custody to obtain important evidence from the accused.
