Female crew members are now required to wear pearls. It has been advised not to wear earrings. They can only wear gold or silver round shaped earrings in their ears. Air India crew members who wear sarees can wear a dot of only 0.5 cm. Apart from this they will be allowed to wear only one bangle on their hands, which will not have any design or stone on it.

In the new guideline of Air India It has been said that the hair of female and male employees whose hair has turned white will have to be colored. The color should also be natural. Applying fashion colors and henna will not be allowed. Apart from this, no religious symbols will be allowed to be tattooed on the neck, wrist and ankle. Air India has advised its employees not to wear company uniforms and accessories while on duty.
