Delhi LG Vs Arvind Kejriwal: There has been a dispute between the Lt Governor of Delhi and the Aam Aadmi government for the past several days. There is a round of accusations and counter-accusations from both of them. Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal has met Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena. Lt Governor and Kejriwal are meeting for the first time after the CBI raid at Manish Sisodia’s residence. 

Which issue was discussed? 

Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. Speaking about this, Kejriwal said that after meeting the Lt. Governor, the garbage problem and cleanliness in Delhi were discussed in this meeting. On the death in the fire incident, Kejriwal said that the Delhi government will provide full assistance. Kejriwal has said that the discussion between the two was in a very good atmosphere. Every Friday Lt Governor and Chief Minister Kejriwal meet regularly to discuss issues related to Delhi. But there was no meeting between them for some time.

AAP leaders leveled allegations of corruption against the Lt Governor
A few days ago, AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak accused Delhi Lt Governor of Khadi scam. According to him, the scam took place during demonetisation in 2016. At that time, LG Saxena was the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. He had alleged that he had given new notes instead of old notes and said that it was a scam of 1400 crores. After this the LG sent a legal notice to the AAP leaders.

Order to probe Kejriwal in stamp duty case

According to Delhi Lt Governor’s office a few days ago, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was accused of selling three plots for Rs 4.45 crore and on paper their value was only Rs 72.72. It is alleged that Rs. Also, with the help of his wife Sunita Kejriwal, he sold plots at the market price of Rs 45,000 per square yard. But the transaction documents showed Rs 8,300 per square yard, it is alleged. Arvind Kejriwal was also accused of evading stamp duty worth Rs 25.93 lakh. The complaint was sent to the Lt. Governor through the Lokayukta. in which it was demanded to be investigated. Now Lt Governor VK Saxena has sent this complaint to the Chief Secretary. It is not yet known what further action is being taken on this.
