22 September In History :Birth of national poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar and India-Pakistan war ceasefire; September 23 is witness to these events

Mumbai : After the independence of India due to partition there was a great tension between these two countries. Then in 1965 war broke out between these two countries. This war between India and Pakistan was fought in all three categories namely infantry, navy and air force. India defeated Pakistan in this war. After the intervention of the United Nations, a ceasefire was declared between the two nations. On 23 September 1965, the war between these two countries was declared over. 1908- Birth of National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar 

National Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was born on this day. It was on 23 September 1908. Ramdhari Singh Dinkar was famous for writing nationalist poetry and literature. Ramdhari Dinkar Singh made a great impact on Hindi literature through his writings. 

1929- First ban on child marriage in India, Sarada Bill passed

On this day, 23rd September Child Marriage Bill was passed in India in 1929. This bill was introduced by Harvilas Sharda. Therefore, his name was given to this bill. The Act stipulated that the age of marriage for girls should be 18 and that of boys should be 21. This Act was applied not only to Hindus but to all people of British India. This was considered a great success of the ongoing social reform in India. 1939- Sigmund Freud passed away. He died on 23 September 1939. Sigmund Freud introduced many important and foundational theories in psychology. Considered to be the greatest psychologist of the 20th century. 

1965- Indo Pakistan war ends 

On 23 September after the United Nations declared a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. The war was declared over. 

2009- Launch of Oceansat 2

India’s artificial satellite Oceansat 2 was launched on 23 September 2009. . This satellite was created by Istro to forecast the country’s weather, developments in the Indian Ocean and study climate change. This time seven satellites were launched simultaneously with Oceansat 2. 

2020- Jammu and Kashmir Official Language Bill passed 

Indian Parliament 23 September 2020 Jammu and Kashmir Official Language Bill was passed on This bill has five clauses
