On This Day In History : December 1 has witnessed many important events. One of these incidents is so minor, but that incident took such a big shape that it was recorded in history.  In 1955, a dark-skinned woman named Rosa Parks was traveling on a bus in Alabama. At that time, she refused to give up her seat for a fair-skinned co-passenger. Because of this, the woman was fined for behaving against the then government rules and regulations. There was a lot of opposition to this case in America. After that, under the leadership of Martin Luther King Jr., black people protested by boycotting for 381 days. World AIDS Day (World AIDS Day 2022)
World AIDS Day is celebrated on 1st December every year to spread awareness among people about the disease AIDS. World AIDS Day was conceived in 1987 by Thomas Netter and James W., who worked in the AIDS Global Program of the World Health Organization. Since 1988, World AIDS Day has been celebrated on December 1. AIDS is a disease for which scientists have not yet found any effective treatment. Prevention is the only cure for this disease. This disease is caused by infection with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Awareness is very important to prevent HIV. A needle used to inject a person should not be reused. Have safe sex. Also one should not use a used blade for shaving.

Creation of Nagaland –
On this day in 1963, Nagaland became the 16th state of India. The capital of Nagaland is Kohima. This state was earlier known as Naga Hills Twensang. Nagaland is a state of natural beauty. which is surrounded by mountains on all four sides. More than 100+ caste-religion citizens live in the state of Nagaland. Whose culture, beliefs, customs are very different from each other.
