1780 : Birth of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab  
Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the king of the Sikh Empire. was He is very famous by the name of Sher-e Punjab. He was a person who not only strengthened his Punjab state but also did not allow the British to come near his state till he was alive. Ranjit Singh was born on 13 November 1780 at Gunjarwala. 1971 : US spacecraft Mariar-9 orbits Mars

Actress Juhi Chawla was born on 13 November 1967. Juhi Chawla is the winner of Miss India 1984. Juhi has worked in Hindi cinema. Apart from this, she has also acted in Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu language films. She was one of the most popular and highest paid Hindi film actresses in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Juhi has received several awards including two Filmfare Awards.

It emitted so much heat that it melted all the snow that had permanently covered the mountain. It killed more than 23,000 people.
