TS Tenth Exam Fee: Termination of private schools.

The Department of Government Examinations has already announced the fee payment dates for the students appearing for the 10th class public examinations in Telangana for the academic year 2022-23. Accordingly, the deadline for paying the fee of Rs.125 without any late fee till November 24 has expired. Fees can be paid till December 5 with a late fee of Rs.50, till December 15 with a late fee of Rs.200, and till December 29 with a late fee of Rs.500. Owners of private schools who constantly collect fees in one form or another, even in the form of examination fees, are charging ten times the fees. In this order, some private schools charged from Rs.500 to Rs.1500 including the examination fee. Parents are facing difficulties as they cannot pay the high fees. Expired without delinquency fee. Now it is enough to pay a fee of Rs.175 inclusive of Rs.50. But in private schools they are charging Rs.500. Some schools are charging up to Rs.2 thousand.

In the matter of exam fees, the education department is taking measures to cut off the private owners. Although additional collections were made in the past, they were blocked due to Corona. This time, as the classes are being held directly, the collection rush has started. School fees are normally paid in two or three installments every year. But all the students in class 10 must pay by December 15. Otherwise, they are threatening that the examination fees will not be paid to the education department and the hall tickets will not be issued. The parents of the students are requesting the government that the education department should take appropriate action in this regard.
