A decision was taken to increase the platform ticket price to Rs.20. The previous price of Rs.10 has been increased to Rs.20. However, it is noteworthy that the officials have said that the price of the platform ticket is being temporarily increased to avoid rush during the Dussehra festival. He said that these steps are being taken to avoid congestion as passengers and their relatives are also coming in large numbers. Kachiguda railway station in Telangana has issued orders increasing platform ticket prices. Officials clarified that the increased prices will be effective till October 9. On the other hand, on the occasion of Dussehra, Telangana RTC gave relief to the passengers. It has announced that the fares which are increased every year in special buses will not be increased this year. In a statement, officials asked the passengers to use RTC bus services.
