TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy said that Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam will be organized in many places across the country so that devotees from other parts can see the daily and weekly services and festivals of Lord Kali Yuga Lord Sri Venkateswara Swami in Tirumala. He said that Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam will be held in various parts of the country including Telugu states. Subbareddy said that the festival will be held from 11th to 15th of this month at NTR Stadium in Hyderabad.
In a media conference at Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan on Wednesday, TTD Chairman Subbareddy said that the festival will be inaugurated on the 10th of this month. He said that regular activities will be conducted from 6 am to 9 pm for five days.
As part of the weekly services, Vasanthotsavam will be held on October 11, Sahasra Kalasabhishekam on 12th, Tiruppavada on 13th, Nijapada darshan on 14th and Srinivasa Kalyanam on 15th from 6.30 to 8.30 pm. Subbareddy requested that a large number of devotees come to these festivals and become eligible for the blessings of Lord Shiva. He said that Srinivasa kalyanas will be organized in the agency areas like Anakapalli, Araku, Rampachodavaram and other areas in the same month. He said that Shri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavam will be held in Ongolu of Prakasam district in December and in Delhi in January.
Deepotsavam in the month of Kartika:
TTD Chairman Subbareddy revealed that a decision has been taken to organize Kartika Deepotsavam in Yaganti of Visakhapatnam and Kurnool district during the holy month of Kartika, which is the most favorite of Sivakesavas.
It was explained that in Uttarayanam, Mahasamprokshan will be done for Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple in Chennai and Srivari temples in Jammu. He said that the Gujarat government has given 5 acres of land for the construction of Srivari temple in Ahmedabad city and Bhumi Puja will be done soon.
