Srinivas Goud: The third T20 match between India and Australia will be played at Uppal on 25th of this month. Since the start of Corona, no cricket matches were held in this stadium, so cricket fans are eager to watch this match live. At the same time, there was a lot of confusion over the issue of tickets. Allegations are pouring in on the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) that they are making money by selling tickets in blocks at the Uppal Stadium, which has a capacity of around 55,000. Sports fans from different districts of Telangana are reaching the gymkhana ground for match tickets. In this context, the State Sports Minister Srinivas Goud reacted to the confusion in ticket issuance. ‘We will conduct an inquiry into the manipulation of India-Australia match tickets. If it is found that the tickets were sold in black, then one has to face serious consequences. We will take strict action. CM KCR will not tolerate if the reputation of the state is degraded in this matter. How many tickets are there in total? How many were sold? He ordered the HCA to say how many tickets are being allotted to whom.
Minister Srinivas Goud said that he will inspect the Uppal Stadium along with the Principal Secretary on Thursday. On the other hand, many people are alleging that HCA is promoting the sale of tickets in block. They have been coming to the gymkhana grounds for the past three days for tickets but there is no response from the HCA. They complain that even though they have booked the tickets online, they are refunding the money immediately. In this context, the comments made by the minister gained importance.
