Just then the sun.. and then the rain.. Bhagyanagar was drenched with heavy rain. Even before you think that the rains have subsided, it is raining in all areas. The roads are knee-deep in flood due to non-stop rain. Motorists are facing difficulties due to traffic jams at many places. Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Khairatabad, Kukatpally, Sarurnagar, Balanagar, Serilingampally, Jeedimetla and Suraram areas are receiving heavy rain. The low-lying areas have become waterlogged due to heavy rains that have been falling for two days. The rain is giving a gap in some areas.. it is pouring incessantly in other areas. Students going home from school are having trouble.
If this is the case, the Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Telangana for the next four days. Yellow and orange alert has been issued to this extent. The Meteorological Department has already issued a yellow alert in the districts of Manchiryala, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Gadwala districts. It has warned that there is a chance of light to moderate rains at several places on Thursday.
