Hyderabad CP CV Anand has taken special measures to reduce the vehicular traffic and provide relief to the city residents. They are preparing to save people from traffic problems with Operation Rope. Hyderabad CP Anand announced that he is ready to remove any constructions across the road. Operation Rope means removal of obstructive parking, and encroachment. This is now going to check the traffic problem of Hyderabad residents. It is going to focus on encroachment of parking and footpaths in Hyderabad. The CP of Hyderabad has revealed that strict action is being taken against those who encroach on parking spaces and footpaths at will.
CP Anand said that 60 percent parking area in multiplexes, 60 percent in malls, 40 percent in commercial buildings and 30 percent in apartments will be strictly implemented. He said that this action plan is going to be implemented along with GHMC. A plan is also being prepared for those who leave the footpath and come to the road and do business. Awareness will be created on the arrangement of bus bays for RTC buses. CP Anand said that steps will be taken to ensure that traffic rules are followed. Special attention will be paid to stop line control. Strict action will be taken if commercial complexes are established without parking facility. He said that there will be serious action on traffic violations in the coming days.
70 to 80 percent of the phones coming to Dial 100 are traffic problems, which shows how serious the traffic issue is. CP Anand said that appropriate measures will be taken by talking to the managements in the surrounding areas of the school and college. He said that after the arrival of Corona, the number of vehicles has increased enormously. Special focus will be put on cyber crime, drugs and traffic in the city.
