A record number of people traveled in Hyderabad Metro yesterday (Friday). Metro Rail officials said that 4 lakh people made the journey in a single day. It is known that metro train timings are extended on the occasion of Ganesh immersion. Officials revealed that the number of people traveling has also increased in this order. 2.46 lakh people traveled on Miyapur-LBnagar corridor, 1.49 lakh people on Nagol-Rayadurgam route and 22 thousand people traveled on JBS-MGBS route. Khairatabad (Khairatabad) metro station, the maximum number of 22 thousand people got off the train, 40 thousand people got off the train. On Friday, the Ganesh Nimajjana Utsav was held with great splendor across Hyderabad. In this order, traffic restrictions have been imposed in many areas. With this, Hyderabad Metro took a crucial decision to avoid disruption of traffic. On Friday (September 9), Hyderabad (Hyderabad) metro trains have extended their timings. Metro services are provided from 6 am to 2 am. In the background of these conditions, there has been a huge increase in metro travel.

Demand for Hyderabad Metro Rail is increasing day by day. The number of people traveling in metro train is increasing day by day. Officials estimate that five to six thousand people travel every hour in the metro train. There is heavy traffic in main stations and interchange stations. It is no exaggeration to say that there is no place to put the foot. There is heavy traffic in the morning and evening hours. More than half of the metro travelers buy tickets at stations, while some use UPI payments and smart cards.
