Hyderabad: CP congratulated the police who saved the young woman who jumped from the cable bridge.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra IPS in the presence of Madapur Inspector Tirupati congratulated the Madapur Lake Police for saving the young woman who tried to commit suicide by jumping from the Durgam Lake cable bridge. Later they were given rewards. If someone commits suicide, they want to save their life. Cyberabad Police Commissioner specially praised Sub Inspector Bhanu Prakash of Madapur Police Station, Police Constable Naveen Kumar of Durgam Cheruvu Lake Police Station, Board Driver S Manohar of Telangana Tourism Department and Sailing Coach Rajinikanth of Hyderabad Yacht Club. The CP said that lake policing established at Durgam pond in Cyberabad will give good results.

On November 29 (Tuesday) around 6 pm, Kumari Harshita, a second year intermediate student of Mehdipatnam's Rethiboli area, suddenly attempted suicide by jumping from a bridge into a pond due to mental stress. Constable Naveen Kumar of the Lake Police Station who was on patrol duty on the bridge immediately alerted the Lake Police under the Durgam Pond Cable Bridge.

Madapur sub-inspector Bhanu Prakash, Telangana Tourism Department's boat driver Manohar and Hyderabad Yacht Club's Rajinikanth Tobe rescued the young woman. Then CPR was done and taken to the nearest hospital. After learning that the young woman's condition was stable, her parents were called. They were counseled and sent home.
