A major accident was averted in Kukatpally, Hyderabad city. A car caught fire on the national highway under Balanagar metro station near Kukatpally. A fire broke out in the car’s engine and spread to the front of the car. Due to this, the passengers in it got alerted and got out of the car, thus avoiding loss of life. They said that the car caught fire suddenly while it was running.
The car was destroyed in the fire. In this background, the vehicles stopped on the way of Balanagar metro station. The police reached the spot and removed the car from the road and cleared the traffic.
The firemen who reached the scene after receiving the information are putting out the fire. The police have registered a case and are investigating the car accident.
