A survey conducted by LinkedIn reveals that 78 percent i.e. almost 8 out of 10 Indian Peshawars prefer to go to office to socialize and connect with their colleagues. At the same time, the report revealed that 63 percent of the employees feel that working remotely has not had any harmful effect on their career. A similar proportion also believed that their career growth potential could be lower if they did not go to office.

The survey was conducted by LinkedIn between February 28 and March 6, 2023, and was reported based on a research conducted by Census India with over 1,001 workers in India aged above 18 years. According to the report, earlier employees felt compelled to be physically present in the office, but 78 percent of the professionals interviewed said they now do so of their own free will.
Employees love coming to work to be more social and part of a team.More than 72 percent of those surveyed also said that they miss tea break bonding at workplace, where they can laugh and joke with their colleagues about both their work and personal lives. To compensate for being less visible at work, 71 percent of employees said they are spending more time at home, showing that they are more serious about their work.

After Corona, a new trend has started emerging in the office. This trend is desk bombing. According to the LinkedIn report, now most of the employees like to spend time on their colleague’s desk. Most employees prefer to walk up to their colleague’s desk unannounced, with 62 percent of those surveyed agreeing that desk bombing is the best way to communicate quickly.

According to the report, now people are becoming aware of creating work-life balance.
Earlier where Friday was the most favorite day of people to go to office, now people do not want to go to office on Friday. Fewer employees are seen in the office on Fridays as compared to normal days. 50 percent of the people surveyed for the report said that they want to spend time with their family and friends on Friday. On the other hand, the rest of the people said that they want to settle their remaining works on this day. That’s why he doesn’t like to go to office on Friday.
