Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone of the permanent campus of the National Coastal Police Academy in Dwarka on the first day of his visit to Gujarat. On this occasion, Amit Shah said that the Modi government is making coastal security impregnable by increasing coordination between agencies. In this sequence, the government has decided to construct the campus of National Coastal Police Academy (NACP) at Dwarka. Shah said that the training work would be done better from the permanent campus of NACP. Shah said in his statement that I can sleep peacefully in Delhi because BSF is deployed on the border. Shah also said that earlier there was a lapse in coastal security that is why the Mumbai attacks took place on 26/11.
Will be constructed with 470 crores
The permanent campus of this National Coastal Police Academy at Dwarka will be constructed at a cost of Rs 470 crore. In these, the facility of living of BSF jawans will also be available. Shah said that the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constantly working to increase facilities. Shah also said that recently the security agencies did the work of catching drugs worth 12 thousand crores in the Indian Navy. Shah said this means that the alertness of the security agencies has increased. Targeting the former Congress government, Shah said that earlier there were not so many seizures of drugs. Drugs worth 680 crores were seized during the UPA regime. Just now, drugs worth 12 thousand crores were seized in one go.
