Amit Shah: Important contribution of 4 Gujaratis in modern India, know whose achievements are counted by name

Ahmedabad/New Delhi: On the occasion of completion of 125 years of ‘Shri Delhi Gujarati Samaj’, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that four Gujaratis have an important contribution in building modern India. Shah said that Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Morarji Desai and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have contributed significantly to the modern history of India. These four Gujaratis have a significant contribution to the condition India is in today. Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s fame is spreading all over the world.

Bapu got freedom
Amit Shah said that the country got freedom due to Gandhiji, the country became united due to Sardar Sahib, democracy of the country was revived due to Morarji Desai and India’s name was brought to the world due to Narendra Modi. He said that these four Gujarati celebrities have done great things and they are the pride of the whole country. Amit Shah had arrived as the chief guest in a program organized on the occasion of completion of 125 years of ‘Shri Delhi Gujarati Samaj’ in Shah Delhi.

The economy was then in 11th place
Referring to the nine-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah said that the country has achieved many achievements during this period. He said that when Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014, India’s economy was ranked 11th in the world. Today, nine years later, India is the 5th largest economy in the world. The Home Minister said that now many agencies including IMF are seeing India’s economy as a new force. He praised Gujarati people on this occasion.

The Home Minister congratulated all the people associated with this organization on completion of 125 years. He said that the Gujarati community has found its acceptance and despite living in Delhi, Gujarati society has maintained the essence of Gujarat. It has developed and preserved and promoted its culture. He said that people of every community live in Delhi and the Gujarati community also lives in a systematic manner in the city.
