Rajkot, Jan 23 (PTI) About 50 personnel of civil hospital including doctors and nurses in Gujarat’s Rajkot have been found infected with the corona virus.
Hospital superintendent RS Trivedi said that none of them are in critical condition, so they are being treated in isolation at their homes.
He told reporters, “The health workers of the hospital who came in contact with the patients have been infected with Kovid-19. About 50 people, including para-medical personnel, nurses and doctors, have been found infected. But the good thing is that no one is in a critical condition and most of them are in home isolation. ,
On Thursday, the highest ever number of 24,485 new cases were reported in Gujarat and the total number of infected crossed one million. The number of patients under treatment in the state increased to 1.29 lakh. Among them 244 are on life support system.
