A new entry-level smartphone has been launched in the Indian market by Tech Brand Vivo. The listing on the official site of Vivo India has revealed the specifications of the new Vivo Y1s and the company has brought it at a price of less than Rs 8000. Vivo Y1s has a MediaTek processor with large display and strong battery. Buyers can buy this phone as a stand-alone device, and in a lock-in offer with Jio.
Price and offers
Vivo’s new entry-level device has been priced at Rs 7,990 and can be purchased in two color options – Aurora Blue and Olive Black. On buying this phone with the lock-in offer of Reliance Jio, users will get benefits of Rs 4,550 on recharge above Rs 249. Apart from this, 10 percent benefit up to Rs 799 and 90 days Shemaroo OTT subscription will also be available for Rs 99. The company is also offering one-time screen replacement with OneAssist for 6 months.
Vivo Y1s specifications
The budget device Vivo Y1s features a 6.22-inch Hao FullView LCD display with waterdrop notch and the phone’s display comes with HD + resolution (720×1520 pixels). The company claims that the Y1s have an 88.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. This phone has a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and gets 2 GB RAM. The phone’s internal storage is 32 GB, which can be increased with the help of microSD card.
This phone of Vivo has given Android 10 based FunTouch OS 10.5. The phone has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie, while the 13-megapixel single camera in the rear panel is available with LED flash. A large 4030mAh battery is available in the handset to provide long backup and 3.5mm headphone jack is also provided. Micro-USB port is available in this phone for connectivity and charging.
