There is good news for users using Nokia’s smartphone. The company launched its popular smartphones- Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 The security patch of January 2021 for Plus, Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 3.1 has been released. In these updates, the company is not offering any new features other than security patches. Users get its notification when an update for the device arrives. Users can also check this update manually by going to the phone’s settings.
Nokia 6.1 update sides 21 MB
The latest update for Nokia 6.1 Plus is currently being rolled out only in India. The update for this phone, launched in August 2018, is 21MB in size. According to Nokiamob’s report, the January 2021 Android Security Patch for Nokia 7.1 is 21.06MB.
Update may result in global rollout
Talking about Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 3.2, the size of their updates is 60.15MB and 16.3 MB respectively. In which countries the company is offering the update for Nokia 7.1, 3.1 and 3.2, not much information has come out about it. However, it is believed that the company is doing a global rollout of the updates for these phones.
Three new phones will be entered soon
Meanwhile, a report said that the company may launch three new phones – Nokia 1.4, Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3 – in the first or second quarter of this year. Nokia 1.4 is a completely new device. Whereas, Nokia 6.3 and 7.3 have been in discussion for quite some time. Initially, there were also reports that both of these phones could be launched in the IFA 2020 in the third quarter of the year 2020.
