Beta users can go to the app to check whether they have got the new Disappearing Messages feature yet. You can see whether the disappearing messages feature is visible by going to Contact Info. For group chat, users can go and see in group info. In such a situation, if this feature is available in the app, then it can be turned on and you can activate the Disappearing Messages feature. Once enabled, a message sent in a chat will automatically disappear after 7 days. This will only be for those messages that will be sent after the feature is enabled.

Please tell that even after the message disappears after seven days, the message will be visible in the notification preview. Even after the disappearance of the original text message, text will continue to appear in the message quoted and sent in the chat. This message also does not work for forwarded messages. If you have forwarded a discouraging message, it will continue to appear in forwarded chat even if it is missing from the original chat. Users can create backup of dispatching message but it will not be visible even after the chat is restored.
