Popular phone maker company Realme has recently launched two new 5G smartphones Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition in the Indian market. Both these smartphones have a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and triple rear camera setup. Reality GT 5G is the most powerful model of these two and it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The starting price of the Realme GT smartphone is Rs 37,999 and the starting price of the GT Master Edition smartphone is Rs 25,999. We have used both these phones and have brought you their reviews. Here we will talk about the features and flaws of both the phones together. Also, you will understand the difference between both the phones.

display and design
The rear design of both the smartphones is different from each other. The Realme GT sports a dual-tone leather design at the back, which is fingerprint resistant. At the same time, the Realme GT Master Edition smartphone comes with a suitcase design rear panel. Although this design will be available in the gray color option of the phone. We have the white color option of the phone, which shows moonlight. The Realme GT smartphone has a 6.43-inch Full HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display. This display comes with 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole design. The company claims that this display is perfect for gaming. Dual ambient light sensors have been provided in the display, which adjust the screen brightness optimally.

Talking about the Realme GT Master Edition, it also has a 6.43-inch full-HD + (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display, which is the same with 120Hz refresh rate. In-display fingerprint sensor has been given in both these displays. Apart from this, both the phones have 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, Type-C USB port and single speaker grill at the bottom. The volume button is on the left while the power button is on the right. The phone has a dual nano-SIM tray and does not have a microSD card slot for expanding storage.

Processor and performance
Realme GT smartphone is the company’s first phone that comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It is one of the fastest 5G processors. Smart 5G feature has been given in the phone, which senses the surrounding signal and switches from 4G to 5G. In this way the battery life is increased. A special GT mode has been given in the phone, which enhances the performance even more. However, it also consumes more battery. You can easily do gaming on heavy graphics.

Similarly, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor has been given in Realme GT Master Edition. It also gets a special GT mode to increase performance. Both the phones come with a cooling system so that the phone gets minimally hot during heavy gaming. The Realme GT smartphone has up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage, while the lower-priced Realme GT Master Edition has up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. Both phones work on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0. In the phone, you have been given features like Nearby Share, NFC, Dark Mode, Eye Comfort, and Screen recording. Apps like Amazon Music, Amazon, Booking.com, Dailyhunt, Facebook, Finshell Pay, Flipkart, Hey Fun, Josh, Linkedin, Moj, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Snapchat, Soloop are pre-installed in smartphones.

front and rear camera
Both the phones come with triple rear camera setup and single selfie camera. Its rear camera includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, there is a front camera of 16 megapixels in Realme GT and 32 megapixels in Realme GT Master Edition. We tried to take the same pictures with both the phones simultaneously. Obviously, the results of Realme GT have looked much better in terms of photography.

A little saturated color is seen in the pictures taken from Reality GT, which can be liked by most of the people. In low light or night shots, it highlights the picture well, although a little noise is also seen.

While the colors look more natural in the Master Edition. Photos from the main camera of the Master Edition come out quite vibrant and bright. Its ultra-wide camera and macro camera also do their job just fine. As long as you don’t compare it with the Realme GT, you won’t have any complaints with the Master Edition’s camera.

Modes like Photo, Portrait, Video, Night, 64M, Dual-View Video, Slo-Mo, Timelapse, Film, Panorama, and Text Scanner are available in the camera app. Different filters and HDR mode are also available in the camera app. You get the facility to zoom up to 20X.

You can take good pictures with the front camera of both the phones. In selfies, it also makes your skin a little smooth. Portrait mode also works fine in the selfie camera.

battery and charging
4500mAh battery is available in Reality GT and 4300mAh battery in GT Master Edition. Both of them support 65W fast charging. Both last the whole day comfortably in simple use. It takes about 40 minutes to charge the Realme GT battery from 0 to 100%. Whereas the battery of Master Edition will be fully charged in half an hour.

Our Verdict
You get great display and performance in both these phones. I also liked the facility of 65W fast charging, which does not let you waste much time. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack has disappeared from most mid-range and flagship phones these days. In such a situation, getting 3.5mm jack in Reality GT devices is quite useful. However, considering the price point, the camera could have been better. The unique design of both the phones can also impress you.
