Reliance Jio has introduced a new and affordable plan for its Jio Fiber broadband customers. The company has introduced this new plan by the name of Back-up Plan. The price of the plan is just Rs 198 and unlimited internet data will be given in it. With no data limit, it is clear that the plan has been specially introduced for Tata IPL. Customers can choose the speed option from 10Mbps to 100Mbps with this plan. Also, the new plan can be recharged from March 30.
Rs 198 JioFiber plan
The JioFiber broadband back-up plan will be available at a starting price of just Rs 198 per month. With this, you are being offered unlimited data with speeds up to 10 Mbps. At the same time, unlimited landline calling will also be available in this plan. One click speed upgrade facility is also available in this plan. That is, you can do one-click speed upgrade for 1/2/7 days and increase the speed up to 30 Mbps or 100 Mbps. Take a look at the picture below to understand the cost of the one-speed upgrade.
If you think that for your primary internet connection, if you want 30 Mbps speed then you have to spend Rs.21 for one day, Rs.31 for 2 days and Rs.101 for 7 days. Whereas, if you want 100 Mbps speed, then you will have to pay Rs 32 for 1 day, Rs 52 for 2 days and Rs 152 for 7 days. At the same time, there are two plans of Rs 100 and Rs 200 under the Jio Fiber Backup plan. This includes 400 Live TV channels, 6 OTT with 4K set top box.
Note that the backup plan is available for at least five months. To take it you will have to pay Rs 1490 (Rs 990 for five months and Rs 500 for installation). Even for STB upgrade, you will have to pay Rs 500 or Rs 1000 in total for five months, depending on which plan the user is opting for. Additional GST will also be applicable on the bill.
