However, the film unit started an investigation yesterday into who leaked the footage. The ‘master’ copy was originally given to a digital company in Chennai for transfer abroad. The footage was leaked from there. The ‘Chennai Times’ reported that a person working in the company had copied the master movie. It was through him that the Internet was discovered to be leaked. Twitter is said to have helped locate the thief. The ‘master’ unit who identified the person who leaked the footage .. reported that a complaint had been lodged with the police against him.
