Ramachandran (Sharvanand) falls in love with Janaki Devi (Samantha) as a child. At school age, one likes the other. The two split up due to some circumstances. Will meet again at the Reunion Party to be formed fifteen years later.
Twists in the story ..
Why did Rama Chandran and Janu split up? What efforts did Rama Chandran make to meet the girl he loved? What was the reaction of Janu who met Ramachandran fifteen years later? How did the story of Janu and Rama Chandran finally end? Janu is the answer to those questions.
Fastoff Analysis ..
The story begins with Ram Chandran wandering around enjoying nature as a traveling photographer. Telling photography lessons, the story goes on with those students fun scenes. The story becomes interesting there whenever Ram recalls his childhood memories. Faststop almost looks like a flashback episode. All of those scenes also seem to carry over into the past. Even though I have seen school age love stories in many movies till now .. even Janu seems to have done magic once again. Get Together Party, meeting old friends, jokes, fun scenes, the first half was successful in engaging the audience.
Secondoff Analysis ..
How much the first half was filled with feeling .. The second half was driven with emotions beyond that. Almost all the scenes in the second half are between Sharwanand and Samantha. He drove for over an hour with these two. The second meaning is filled with scenes like remembering the past and telling funny jokes. Plus they don’t bore anywhere. Maintaining the same feel from the first frame to the last frame of the film makes it impossible for the audience to look sideways. At the end of the movie, the audience comes out with a heavy heart.
Performance of the cast ..
The film is about two characters, Rama Chandran and Janu. Around them, the story revolves around them. However, Sai Kiran Kumar and Gauri ji Kishan, who played childhood roles, did well in their respective roles. Not to mention Sharwanand and Samantha in particular. So far we have seen how long they will live if similar characters are found. Apart from Samantha and Sharvanand, only Janu and Rama Chandran appear to the audience. Their gestures in each frame make the film beautiful. The two starred in Peaks in the emotional scenes. The two of them became strong for this film with their performance.
Being a remake movie
Director’s performance ..
A director who once created magic with a story .. Again it is a bit difficult to recreate the same miracle with different actors with the same story. But Sea Prem Kumar seems to have conquered such hardship. If Janu watches the movie, Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha come to mind in the middle .. it’s not the director’s fault .. it’s not the actors’ fault .. the audience is not more than that. Because the magic created with 96 movies is like that again. However, the viewer who has not seen the original movie .. will definitely go back to the past if he sees the remake. Hats off to director Guts, who directed the film, without going into unnecessary commercials, whether we are doing a remake in Telugu or not. However, it seems to be a minus to tell this story in such a sloppy way. Make an honest effort .. The director can be said to have succeeded in it.
Performance of technicians ..
The music provided by Govind Vasant is the lifeblood of Janu. Each song adapts to the scene and makes it feel. An unknown magic is created in theaters, especially when it comes to the song Imagination Imagination. It would have been nice if Janu had been a little faster in the story. Editor Praveen KL also seems to be at fault in this regard. Mahendran Jayaraj Samantha and Sharwanand look more beautiful on camera. The dialogues in Janu’s film are very good. The art department and the production values have all raised the bar of cinema. Special congratulations to producer Dil Raju for coming forward to remake 96 movie. Without mirroring the commercial aspects .. 96 ‘Janu’ was produced instead of Feel Miss in the movie.

Janu is a good option for those who enjoy pure love stories. Janu will be a good memory for the audience who are accustomed to routine commercial Telugu films. However, it is questionable to what extent such films will play in B and C centers. Looking at the commercial calculations it remains to be seen what range of success Janu will receive.
