I am lucky that single women are allowed to adopt children in our country. During this time I have met many couples who have adopted a child. With this, I have met many children who are now adults. I have understood their process and experience.

Swara Bhaskar has told the parents about the decision of adoption after a lot of research. His decision has been supported by his parents. Swara Bhaskar said, ‘I have started the process of adoption through CARA. I know the wait is a bit long, it may even take three years, but I can’t wait to be a parent to an adopted child.

On the work front, Swara Bhaskar will now be seen in the short film ‘Sheer Korma’. Swara Bhaskar will be seen playing the role of a lesbian in the film. Divya Dutta and Shabana Azmi are also with him in this film. The film ‘Sheer Korma’ is directed by Faraz Arif Ansari.
