In her new interview, Shilpa Rao said that Deepika Padukone and Shahrukh Khan’s chemistry in ‘Besharam Rang’ is tremendous and that’s why this song became very popular. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Shilpa said- In this song, Deepika is celebrating herself, who is good, bad and flawless and for these reasons, she also got excited to sing.

Director Siddharth Anand had said this

Shilpa said, ‘Deepika is celebrating herself in this song. It is fun to watch SRK and Deepika’s chemistry on screen. Both are looking fabulous in this music video. Director Siddharth Anand told me that this is a song in which Deepika is seen praising herself. I felt very empowered while singing this song.

I think this song has been popular only because people have known the real meaning of the song, which tells that love yourself the way you are, without any clarification. People have understood this and are expressing themselves and because of this it has become popular.
