Before coming to India, Milben has issued a statement. It said, ‘I am extremely proud to have the opportunity to represent the United States as a cultural ambassador at India’s 75th Independence Day celebrations, following in the footsteps of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who visited India in 1959. .’ According to his statement, Milben is the first American artist to be invited by the ICCR to attend the Independence Day celebrations. She will be the official guest representing the US.
