Kavya Madhavan has been issued another notice to appear for questioning in the case where the actress was attacked. The crime branch has issued a notice asking him to appear at 11 am today. But it is not yet clear where the interrogation will take place. Earlier, the crime branch had issued a notice to Kavya asking her to appear for questioning. But Kavya avoided the questioning, citing individual inconveniences. An investigation is underway into the involvement of Kavya in the case.

The Crime Branch has expedited proceedings in the wake of the High Court’s earlier ultimatum to close the case by May 30. During the course of the case, 20 prosecution witnesses from the film industry turned to the defendant.
