It’s very interesting to see stars of silver screen singing for another star. In recent times, it has become common for young Tamil stars to write and sing songs for other superstars. Kollywood is celebrating Pongal with Dalapati Vijay’s Varisil song titled Thi Dalapati sung by Chimbu. Chimpu appears with lively dance moves as well as singing in the song which sets the mood of the film which is being prepared as an action thriller. S. He is composing the music for the film.

The first single ‘Ranjitame Ranjitame’ sung by Vijay from the film’s earlier release is still trending. Thi Dalapati sung by Chimbu is another trending song like Ranjithame. Although he has sung for other stars in many films, this is the first time that Vijay is singing for Chimbu in the film. An actor, director, producer, singer, music director and lyricist, Chimpu has also sung in Vishnu Vishal starrer FIR, Chimpu’s super hit Venthu Taninthat Kaad and Hindi film Double XL in 2022.

Vaaris is a family emotional drama directed by Vamshi Payitipally with Vijay in the lead role. Vijay has Rashmika Mandana as the heroine. Varis also features Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Shyam, Yogi Babu and others in the lead roles. First reports say that the film will be rich in dance scenes and action scenes on Vijay’s usual track. The film will hit theaters in January 2023. In the action mood, Waris Pongal will face Tuni, who is playing Ajith as the hero.

H. Directed by Vinod, Ajith looks stylish with a long gray stubble and hair. It is reported that Ajith is playing a role with a negative shade in the film. The tag line given to the title of the film is ‘No Guts No Glory’. Manju Warrier will be playing Ajith’s heroine in Thuni. The film also stars Veera, Samudharkani, John Koken and Telugu actor Ajay in lead roles. Vijay has now joined Lokesh Kanakaraj’s film.
