She is the daughter of Kunjukuttan and Lakshmikutty at Sarathchandra Bhavan, Thiruvathukal, Vellore, Kottayam. He was born on February 26, 1941. The first step towards acting was in ‘Kedavilakku’. She later starred in ‘Rebecca’ and dubbed the same film. He then acted in ‘Unopened Door’. Pala Thankam has acted in more than 3000 films, including foreign language films. Pala Thankam last acted in Balan K Nair’s Yagagni. Thankam’s husband is police officer Sreedharan Thampi. He died 25 years ago. She is the daughter of the late Ambili dubbing artist.
