‘Daughter Janaki’ serial actor Rakesh Maiya is already acting in films like ‘Shubhamangala’ and ‘Tenant’ Shivaji Suratkal 2 The film team has joined. He has recently completed his training and will be working as a Police Inspector. There are so many shades to this character that will be important throughout the film.

Vinay Joshi of Bigg Boss fame is also playing the role of a rough and tough cop. The character makes a significant turning point in the film’s story. Nakul Bhayankar, a music composer of ‘Kannadh Do Not Know’ and ‘Love Mocktail 2’, has composed music for the film, before which he worked closely with renowned music director AR Rahman. He also worked as a programmer for the recently titled ‘Parama Sundari’. He now belongs to this group and is responsible for music and background music.

Filming for ‘Shivaji Suratkal 2’ will start in December and preparations are underway and more details will be shared soon. The highlight of the film is Ramesh Aravind’s 103rd film. Radhika Narayan, Meghna Ganvkar, Raghu Ramanakoppa and Vidya Murthy are already in the cast. Shivaji Suratkal 2 will be released under the banner of Anjana Gadri Cine Creations by Rekha KN and Anup Gowda.

Shivaji is also preparing for a Hindi remake of Surathkal cinema. The film is intended to be made by a Bollywood actor. More official information on this is yet to be revealed. As asked by Akash to direct the Hindi remake.
