Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai inaugurated the new building of Dr. M. Lilavati Primary Health Center at Soladevanahalli in Nelamangala taluk today.
What did Basavaraja Bommai say?
Eternal star of film world. Ever green star Leelavati is the elder sister of all. There are very few people in Karnataka who have not seen Leelavati’s films. His is a wonderful performance. It is difficult to stay a star for long in a movie. But Lilavati, who has the great quality of constantly facing many challenges and seeking the welfare of everyone with equal peace, seems to have been sent by God to settle in Soladevanahalli. Leelavati has made her garden in this remote quiet area, rich in nature. They have great spirit. He has achieved the impossible. If you do the impossible, you will be successful,” he said.
Meru is an artist
“If you look at Leelavati’s movies, there is no match for her. His acting is amazing. She is a brilliant artiste who has enriched the Kannada film industry by entering into any role.
Richness of heart
“How many people may be rich in Nelamangala, but no one thought of building a hospital or school. Mother Lilavati tied this to show the richness of her heart as well as how small we all are. You have done what governments should do to ensure that the poor and poor children get treatment in the hospital. If I did not come to such a program, my duty would be neglected. This hospital should be converted into a primary health center. Not only will it be done, but all arrangements like appointment of doctors will be made,” the chief minister promised.
A veterinary clinic will be sanctioned
“If we leave what we got from the society to the society here, the balance sheet of our life will be balanced. Lilavati’s eagerness to give is rare, as she says she will build a veterinary clinic as well. There are many beggars. Few people want to give. Givers are never rich. Sarvajna has said that what is given is what is hidden from him. Leelavati has shown it to be true. Leelavati’s life is exemplary. As per the demand of Leelavati, a veterinary clinic will definitely be sanctioned here,” the CM promised.
Government initiatives for above 60 years
The government is building 100 community health centers this year at a cost of Rs 7-8 crore each. 71 Primary Health Centers are being constructed. An innovative initiative has been taken to organize health check-up camps for people above 60 years of age and treat their problems. New schemes have been implemented in which the government will bear the cost of cochlear implant for those who are above 60 years of age for eye check-up, surgery, and cochlear implant for the deaf. Chemo and dialysis cycles have been doubled for those with cancer and kidney problems,” he said.
Appropriate arrangements will be made for the development of this centre. Vinod Raj’s support is huge in this. This is the place where even Soladevanahalli God lost his sight of the nature here. Lord also touches the holy land, in the soil where there is goodness, where there is goodness. This is the village where God has lost,” said the Chief Minister.
