Sarika is going to make a comeback with ‘Modern Love: Mumbai’ after a gap of almost 5 years. In a conversation with News18, Sarika said, ‘If you see, I started feeling that I wasted my life. Every morning you wake up, things just don’t work out, and then you leave. So I decided that I will take a one year break and will not do any work. I will go somewhere far away and do something different. Sarika told that she decided to do theaters. He said, ‘It was so wonderful that instead of one year, how five years had gone by, I didn’t even know. I was very happy doing all this.
‘Lockdown started and I ran out of money’
He further said, ‘Lockdown started and my money ran out. where will you go You have to return to acting because in theaters you can earn only Rs 2000-2700 and you cannot do anything. It was a very thoughtful decision, so I thought it would be one year but it changed in 5 years. Those 5 years were wonderful.
Sarika has many projects in hand
Sarika will next be seen in Alankrita Srivastava’s series anthology, which will also feature Danesh Rizvi and Ehsaas Channa. Apart from this, Modern Love: Mumbai is premiering on 13 May. Sarika’s upcoming project also includes Sooraj Barjatya’s Unchai, in which many celebrated actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kheras, Boman Irani will be seen.
