Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has failed miserably on the first day at the box office. However, it was clear from the advance booking that the film is going to beat at the ticket window at least on the opening day. But the film did worse than expected. Market experts were assuming that the film would do business of Rs 4-5 crore on the first day. But it didn’t happen. ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has made a net collection of only Rs 3 crore on the first day (Jayeshbhai Jordaar Day 1 Collection). However, it is expected that the film can earn better on Saturdays and Sundays on weekends. On the other hand, ‘Doctor Strange 2’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a business of Rs 106 crores. The film has earned Rs 3.25 crore on Friday.
Ranveer Singh is currently one of the biggest stars of Bollywood. His ‘Jayeshbhai Jordar’, made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, has been directed by Divyang Thakkar. Along with Shalini Pandey and Boman Irani, there are strong actors like Ratna Pathak Shah, but despite this, the film has got a very cold response. Alam is that this film has lagged behind the first day earnings of Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’, Ajay Devgan’s ‘Runway 34’, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ for a few lakhs. .
Even in Gujarat there was no good earning
‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ had earned Rs 1 crore from advance booking. The film was expected to do well in the Gujarat and Saurashtra circuits. But it didn’t happen. Not only this, there is also a full earning opportunity for the film, because it has been 30 days since Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ was released. Although, the film is still earning in crores, but the era of bumper boom as before has slowed down. On the other hand, the response to the Hollywood film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ is also slowly decreasing.
