Javed Akhtar has tweeted on Kangana Ranaut’s comment on ‘Bhikh mein Azadi’. Lyricist Javed wrote on Thursday – “It is completely understandable, if someone calls our freedom just ‘begging’, why would they feel offended by those who had nothing to do with the freedom movement.”
Kangana has many FIRs, demands to take back Padma Shri
Complaints have been filed against Kangana all over the country. These complaints have come on the controversial statement of Kangana, in which she said that India got freedom in begging and the real freedom was got in 2014. As soon as the statement of the actress came out, people have demanded to take back the Padma Shri from her.
Javed Kangna’s Panga is already going on
Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation case against Kangana in Mumbai’s Andheri Magistrate Court on 2 November 2020 last year. Kangana had said in an interview that Javed is a factionalist in Bollywood and also threatened her in the case of Hrithik Roshan. After this, Javed Akhtar, through his lawyer Niranjan Mundargi, filed a defamation case against Kangana under sections 499 and 500 of the IPC.
Constantly defending her statement
Kangana is constantly defending the freedom earnest in her begging. For this, she has said that if someone proves her wrong, she will return her Padma Shri award. Not only this, he has spoken of not supporting Netaji and Bhagat Singh on Mahatma Gandhi. He also said that there is evidence that Gandhi wanted Bhagat Singh to be hanged.
