Sridevi married film producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. Bonnie was already married. He had two children with Mona Shour, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Mona had died a few months before Arjun’s first movie was about to release. Talking about Sridevi, it is said that she was pregnant before marriage with Boney. They got married in 1996 and Janhvi was born on 6 March 1997. Their second daughter Khushi was born in the year 2000.

In an interview given to Mid-Day in the year 2017, Sridevi had said that she does not want Janhvi to go to the film industry. She had said, ‘She (Janhvi) wanted to do the film and initially I was not in favor of it. I don’t think this is a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. I would have been even more happy to see her get married. But her happiness matters more and if she does well as an actress then I will be a proud mother.

Sridevi was born on 13 August 1963. He has given many memorable films including ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamha’, ‘Tohfa’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chalbaaz’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Judaai’. Her last movie was ‘Mom’, for which she also won the National Award for Best Actress. He died on 24 February 2018 after drowning in the bathtub of a hotel in Dubai.
