Recently, Saba Azad posted a video on her Insta (Saba Azad Instagram) singing a song in her own way. On this Hrithik Roshan praised Saba, where she is seen singing a Punjabi song. The actor wrote in the comment, ‘That pencil only adds to all that you are as a human being. That’s all I can say.’ Saba gave her reaction to this and wrote, ‘Hey thanks 🙂 Counting on you to find value in my stationery – you dearest – ok bye :).’

This song of Saba Azad
Saba Azad and Hrithik Roshan also penned a long caption detailing how Heer-Ranjha’s tragic love story has been a part of their growing up years. In its caption, she wrote, ‘Was dreaming of Heer. Was going on lines for my next project and this one came and sat in my mind, I had to take it out to be able to focus. As long as I can remember Heer, a part of my upbringing – so many magical singers have narrated her story in songs – for me my earliest memories of Heer-Ranjha go back to my grandparents’ house in Ludhiana during their summer vacations. It has magical notes coming to us from my grandma’s room where she played it on her cassette player. Our parents played us with so many different versions of this sad tale of love and loss that Heer’s story etched in my heart as a memory that I lived for myself. Its effortless spoken word storytelling format is unlike any other musical tradition I’ve heard and almost always brings me to tears. If I remember correctly it is a small excerpt from Tufail Niazi’s rendition. Yes you can hear this murmuring backwards – yes it’s a pencil in my hair – it’s far from perfect and not my best effort I’m afraid but I loved singing it – Bhool Chuck Maaf. ‘
vacation together
A few weeks back, Hrithik and Saba were seen walking hand-in-hand at the airport after their trip to Goa. Where he attended the launch party of Sussanne Khan’s new restaurant.
