Difficulty of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, HC said – show sex test scene or else approval will not be given

Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ is releasing on May 13 and before the release, the High Court has given an important decision on a controversial scene of the film. Recently, an objection was lodged on a scene in this film, which showed the sex test before delivery. A lawyer named Pawan Prakash Pathak filed a petition in the Delhi High Court to remove this scene from the trailer and the film. Now the decision of the High Court has come on this.

Delhi High Court – First show the scene then you will get approval

The High Court has said that such an important scene cannot be shown without any disclaimer. Nor can gender testing be made insignificant. The court told the makers that they should not trivialize the sex test of the fetus and such things cannot be shown in the film as it has become a routine practice. The High Court told the producers, ‘Take the instructions that are being given to you. Implement them. Will see us or put a stay. Till we don’t see that scene ourselves, we don’t understand what it is related to, we will not approve it.

Lawyer had lodged objection on this scene

In the petition filed, advocate Pawan Prakash Pathak had said that even though the film is against female feticide and focuses on the goal of saving daughters, it has promoted the technology of ultrasound for sex determination, which is correct. Not there. It was said in the petition that the sex screening scene in the ultrasound clinic was shown without censoring, which is wrong.

Hearing is going on in court

During the hearing of this petition, a bench of Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla, after watching the trailer of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, said that nothing has been shown in the trailer to suggest that the woman was secretly taken to the clinic for ultrasound.
