Ek Villain Returns had earned Rs 6.75 crore on the opening day on Friday. On Saturday, the film earned just Rs 7 crore. On Sunday, the film surprised everyone by earning Rs 8.25 crore. It is expected that this film with mass audience will do good business going forward. But from the collection of Rs 2.85 at the box office on Monday, it is clear that the journey of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ is also not going to last more than two to two and a half weeks at the box office. The film will now be able to earn only Rs 30-31 crore in the first week.
Shamshera earned Rs 47.75 crore in 11 days
On the other hand, Shamshera, who has proved to be a disaster of Ranbir Kapoor, is in very bad condition. The film, which released on July 22, earned just Rs 80 lakh on Monday, the 11th day. In this way, the total earning of the film in 11 days has been Rs 47.75 crores. The film’s collection is declining every day. From the film’s director Karan Malhotra to actor Sanjay Dutt, have accepted that their film has proved to be a flop.

Once again Bollywood movies turned out to be breathless
Ranbir Kapoor made a comeback on screen after 4 years of ‘Sanju’ through ‘Shamshera’. The budget of this film is also said to be Rs 150 crore. This is the fourth consecutive flop film for Yash Raj Films. On the other hand, the way the earnings of ‘Ek Villain Returns’ released on Friday also fell on Monday, it would not be wrong to say that the makers of Bollywood have once again failed to catch the pulse of the audience.
