Varun Dhawan, Rohit Shetty honored for helping people in lockdown

Bollywood personalities Varun Dhawan and Rohit Shetty were recently honored for their humanitarian efforts during the lockdown. The award function was held at Prabhadevi Ravindra Natyamandir, Mumbai. It identified the contribution of citizens who helped people in the damage caused during the corona virus epidemic in the country. Let me tell you, Varun Dhawan had donated 30 lakhs in PM Cares Fund and 25 lakhs in Maharashtra CM Relief Fund. Not only this, they also provided free food for workers and health care staff.

Rohit donated 51 lakh rupees to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to help the daily wage workers of the Hindi film industry financially.
